Eight weeks to a 1,400-seat kickoff: the schedule we used
A venue change in January, doors on March 9. The week-by-week plan that got Northwind Labs there.

Northwind Labs sold out its kickoff venue in January. Eight weeks before doors, the show moved to a converted rail hall with no rigging plan on file. Here is how the eight weeks went.
Weeks one and two
Walkthrough on the Tuesday, measurements the same afternoon, a new ground plan on the Friday. The client approved the second revision the following Wednesday.
Weeks three to six
The birch slat wall went on the CNC router in week three and was test-assembled in the shop in week five. Content and speaker slides were locked in week six.
Weeks seven and eight
Load-in started at 6:00 am on the Monday; the schedule on the cover is the real one. Doors opened at 8:30 am on the Tuesday.
