The brief
Parcelwise wanted its first delivery vehicle revealed in a room that felt like a gallery, not a motor show. Nothing could leak before 8:00 pm.
The room
A four-meter black turntable sat under a white fabric canopy hung from black truss. The canopy doubled as a projection surface for the countdown, so there were no screens in the room at all.
The show
One rehearsal with the doors locked, one reveal cue, 42 seconds of rotation. We kept the car under the cloth through load-in and let only four crew members see it.
The numbers
Production $162,000. Three days of load-in, a closed rehearsal on the third night, strike by 4:00 am.
